The Subgroup III on 'Energy Efficiency' focuses on energy efficiency measures to achieve the energy goals of Germany and India

    e.g. Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Energy Efficiency Services Ltd. (EESL), Ministry of Power (MoP)

Activities

Apart from regular reporting and knowledge exchange about the Indian Perform Achieve Trade (PAT) Scheme and the German National Action Plan for Energy Efficiency (NAPE), the following three priority issues were identified through the strategic review process: 

  1. Achievement of Energy Goals in Germany and India through Energy Efficiency
  2. District Cooling
  3. Demand Side Management (shifting of electricity demand in different sectors)
